Citroen HY Pick up van 1970, 1911cc, 42, 000km on clock. This is an original vehicle that spent its working life in the Alps France in a barn, hence there was no rot. 4 years ago it was bought to the uk, we purchased it just over 2 years ago with the intention of using it for our business as artisan builders but as the work progressed on the van, we could not bare the thought of spoiling it! The van has been completely taken apart with every piece given complete attention to detail, the bodywork was prepared and painted buy a guy we found by chance who works on these for his main job, it is painted in its original colour with a retro cream on feature parts and has been completely under sealed. The engine has been rebuilt by a mechanic who works in an old fashioned local garage, new clutch, new head gasket, pistons, rebuilt gaskets, carburettor tuned, new battery and steering gators - the list goes on and no expense has been spared. The railings to the buck were imported Russian larch to replace the old ones. This is a real head turner and it is with a heavy heart that we are selling her but she really needs to go to someone who can get the best out of her. We have various paperwork, please see pictures.
