I have been the owner of this smooth running 1969 Jaguar 240 for the last 4 years, but unfortunately it now needs to go.
I have lots of history with the car (please see one photo with documents) that verifies the cars mileage of 85, 977. My file contains the original owners manual, service book, MOT's and history of repair and maintenance over the years of ownership.
The car is mechanically very good and runs well. The engine was overhauled at around 80, 000 miles by a previous owner and has good oil pressure. It has only covered around 6, 000 miles since. An electronic ignition and fuel pump are fitted, and a stainless steel exhaust system.
The interior is in a fairly good used condition, but the paintwork does now need attention in some areas, particularly doors, bonnet, boot and wing. The car is good and could be used daily, or the paintwork restored to a pristine finish again.
Overall, this is a nice Jaguar 240, with history, that would benefit from paintwork attention, and is mechanically sound. The new owner will not be disappointed.
