1968 ford escort MK1 RS2000 recreation fully restored
I'm selling my beloved tango after almost a year to pursue a camper van!
She was fully stripped and painted on a rotisserie by a previous owner several years ago after years of work was back in road in 2015. cannot find any welding underneath the paint is stunniing and is clean underneath as photos.

This is not a genuine RS2000, it is a replica. It does not have the strengthening plates which would have been done by factory.
Started life off as 1300, now it has been beautifully built as 2. 0 pinto with twin 45 Webers, new fuel tank, electric fuel pump.
Running gear is a type 9 5 speed box with quick shift and single piece prop.
Willwood front calipers and vented discs on adjustable coilovers with brake bias box.
The rear axle has adjustable shocks and lowered 2 inches.
Tango has an amazing stance
Exhaust is a sportex system.
Interior has been completely re fitted, headlining door cards, seats and dyno matted and new carpets. Windows have been tinted with film as no air conditioning but can be removed. Heater works fully .
Front seats are black leather/ leatherette and rear is too with an orange insert in rear.
Front seats have covers on to protect
Rear differential has been completely overhauled with new crown wheel and pinion fitted 3. 54:1
Electric cooling fan and aluminium radiator mean this car doesn't overheat.

This car wants nothing other than to be loved and used.
It has electric front windows which were done by the guy who built the car, all I have done is fit a stereo in the centre console.
I garage with cctv, wheel clamp, immobiliser, and have an agreed valuation of £24k
Alloy wheels have locking wheel nuts.
The rear arches have been tubbed to acommodate the wheels and has a great stance. Its all steel, and ive not seen it done like this before at sny of the shows ive been to.
