Description
I rebuilt this little Honda 22 years ago for my step-father. The bike was completely stripped and everything done. Work included new rims with stainless spokes, new crank, piston & rebore, valves, respray in two pack, wiring loom, sprockets, chain, wheel bearings, brake shoes, every bearing and oil seal on the motor, etc etc. At the same time I fitted a four speed gearbox from a C110, which improves the performance considerably. This modification does not alter the external appearance in any way.
I have maintained the bike since then and it has wanted for nothing, and runs perfectly. The rear mudguard is still in pretty reasonable condition, though not perfect. The bike has been used extensively for touring the back lanes of Brittany, in the company of other loonies on C100s & Honda 90s.
Spares include a new genuine Honda crank (which it won't ever be needing, probably), NOS but not perfect silencer, new genuine front mudguard, several sets of points, coil, generator and too many gasket sets.
