These sports cars were built from 1969 to 1973 by the Italian automobile manufacturer, Ferrari, and are also known under the name Ferrari Daytona. The closed 365 GTB/ 4 and the convertible version, the 365 GTS/ 4 („Daytona Spider“), derived from their membership of the Ferrari 365 model family. Like the other members of the family, they are driven by a 4. 4 litre, twelve-cylinder V-engine, but have an independent body by Pininfarina. The „Daytona“ was Ferrari‘s top model at the time. It is regarded as one of Ferrari‘s most attractive road sports cars and is one of the high-priced Ferrari classics in both the closed and open versions. The cars are now regarded as investment items for which seven-digit Euro prices are paid. Some sources assume that „Daytona“ was the in-house designation for the car during the development phase, which should, at least according to initial considerations, have become the official model designation. However, after the term was accidentally leaked prematurely to the press, Enzo Ferrari was so annoyed that he prohibited its further use. (Source: Wikipedia) The Daytona offered here was converted in the USA by Sherman, from a Coupé into a Spider and came at some point time to Germany. German vehicle papers, as well as registration and TÜV until 07. 2020. The vehicle has a Classic Analytics certificate from 2018, which shows the condition 2+
