Launched in 1949, the Matchless G80 is fitted with a long-stroke single-cylinder with a separate 4-speed gearbox. With the low compressed engine, this full-of-charm machine produces a consistent performance, a characteristic appreciated by travelers and fans of duet rides. With the ability to reach 130 km/ h, the G80 was also flexible enough to ride at 30 km/ h on the last gear. Almost entirely in black with a chrome painted tank and a large red piping seat, the Matchless G80 is a response to the beauty of 1950s British bikes. This Matchless G80 was restarted for this sale but would also benefit from a general check-up for total peace of mind.
Auction estimate: €5 000 / 10 000 - Without reserve price
