Here is an extremely rare opportunity to own a wonderful Gold Star with impressive provenance.
This is an original ISDT machine, factory prepared for the Army Team.
It won a Gold Medal in the 1950 ISDT of Wales in the hands of Bombardier George Brooks.
Complete with a large folder of original photos and interesting reading.
This includes documentation of previous owners, BSA Owners Club letters, The Society of Automotive Historians in Britain and magazine articles on the bike.
This is the ‘alli’ 500cc version and a useable machine with a lovely patina. Runs and rides superbly and I will only sell to an enthusiast that won’t butcher it or restore into a shiny chrome horror.
