Advertised for my Dad, his Fiesta XR2, 1986 model so one of the early Mk2 XR2’s. HPI clear with certificate. In the best colour for these – Ford Diamond White. MOT February 2020. Starts on the key and runs perfect hot or cold with no smoke. Looks beautiful from all angles with no rot anywhere, nice and solid underneath and fully stone chipped so can be used through the winter. Interior is very nice for the year has been well looked after.
Nice and standard condition, only modification being a sportex exhaust and manifold (sounds very good).
Was off the road from 1999 till August 2019. Was restored by previous owner to my Dad from 2015-2018. Car was then left parked up. Lots and lots of receipts for the work done.
Had a full repaint during this time and new front wings and bonnet fitted (receipts say genuine ford!)
Freshly powder coated wheels (all 5) with new tyres all round.
Poly bushed suspension – powerflex ones
new fuel tank
new sportex exhaust system and manifold
freshly powder coated wheels (including spare) and new tyres all round
New rear shoes and bearings
New front discs, pads, bearings
Clutch, alternator etc etc etc
New steering rack and track rod ends also recently fitted.
Has just received a full service and fresh coolant etc
As you can see in the pictures body is very nice, including the body kit and bumpers, real head turner, seats have no rips or splits. Has an uncut parcel shelf fitted – find another!
Hard to find in this condition now – Have a look around, this is priced right!
Drives like a little go Kart – just how my Dad remembers them from the 90’s (hence why he bought this one to relive the moment!). Has been fully undersealed underneath to protect it for years to come.
We have done 35 miles in it today and there is a vibration through the car at 60-70mph and upwards, could be wheel balance or a bearing or possibly tracking as the steering wheel is slightly off centre since the new rack fitted. This will need doing, if we sort it out time permitting the price will be adjusted upwards as then it will need absolutely nothing! Apart from this the car drives and runs great and turns heads and has people pointing wherever it is.
Price is £6250 – find another this solid, straight, on the key and in this condition at this price! Not discussing numbers till you are here looking at the car – no point asking best price, last price or similar nonsense, if you are not prepared to part with the advertised price don’t waste your time or mine.
