Description
I've had this little beauty for 5 years. Reduced as I need this moved now.
Bought as a box of bits and took 3 years to get her fit and functional I've run out of time and energy to finish off this project properly. She's done sterling service over the past 2 years with a bit of commuting and general pottering:
The Good:
These bikes are notorious for petrol leaking into the cylinders and stuffing the engine. I've replaced the mechanical fuel pump with an electronic one, rebuilt the carbs and replaced all the seals with ethanol resistant bits so this shouldn't happen.
New braided brake lines
New brake pads and front disc
New clutch
Tons of service history
Hagon shocks
Fuel 2 into 1 stainless exhaust, nice burble and not loud.
Stable handling, super slim and amazing roll on right where you need it make these a really fun and easy bike to ride.
MOT until March
The Bad:
She's nearly 30 years old and at least 10 of them were spent in bits in a barn so there's plenty of patina. Ideally she needs a rebuild and repaint, or you could just get liberal with the AC50 and enjoy riding her.
