1970 FIAT 500L - FULLY RESTORED
We are absolutely delighted to offer for sale what has to be one of the finest Fiat 500’s in existence. It has undergone a restoration by one of the oldest Fiat main dealers in Italy prior to its importation into the UK earlier this year for a wealthy owner in London. A charge in circumstances has meant we now have this amazing little car for sale again (after selling it to a regular client of ours back in May).
It has not been used on the public road since its restoration so remains “factory fresh” .
This was a no expense spared restoration unlike some cars you see for sale that people purport to be fully restored.
The shell has been fully stripped to bare metal and repainted in its factory colour of solid black . The paint has been finished to an incredibly high standard with no signs of sinkage, body filler or poor repairs - it ideally needs to be viewed to appreciate this.
All exterior trim has been renewed including hub caps, all badging, chrome trim, lights, mirrors, bumpers and over riders
The folding roof has been replaced with a new frame and re covered in the correct period vinyl.
engine and gearbox both removed and fully overhauled
4 new period correct Pirelli Cinturato tyres
the full interior has been replaced including all carpets, seats, dashboard, clocks, handles.
Currently still registered in Italy but comes with all its Italian paperwork and customs clearance when imported into the UK to enable easy registration in its eventual destination country.
At the risk of over stating it this really is just like a new car throughout. If you are looking for a quality Fiat 500 you simply will not find a better example and certainly not build an equivalent quality car for anything like the advertised price.
