Here we have for sale hopefully as the pictures will show you is my very very rare 1 of 1 UK DETOMASO PANTERA RHD..... being chassis number 9542 she is the very very last factory GT5 ever produced and is some 60 plus chassis numbers later than the previous GT5 to roll off the production line , and in fact later than a lot of GT5S’s , the reason that she is so late in production and absolutely the only one of her kind is that she was a special order car when GT5’s had ceased production and they were only producing the GT5S’s at that time hence her being the only 1990 factory GT5 in the world along with the only factory GT5 in the world to have factory upgrades only found on the factory GT5S’s .. these being :
1] she has no deck lid open button and has electronic boot release instead
2] she has sports seats instead of comfort seats
3] she has the 351 windsor engine rather that the cleveland
4] she has a burr walnut dash and door cappings
5] she has electronic wing mirrors on the centre console and not on the dash
she has been subject to a total nut and bolt body off restoration over a 5 year period with a full restoration photographic portfolio ,
she was invited to be on the front lawn of GOODWOOD HOUSE for the GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED , she was invited to go up the GOODWOOD HILL behind the new DETOMASO P72 also , she was the main feature at the ROUTE 66 car show in London that went from OXFORD CIRCUS to PICCADILLY CIRCUS and was invited to appear as the main centre 4 page spread in CLASSIC CAR magazine for their article on the rising values of DETOMASO PANTERAS which is still available for sale from this months edition
She has been subject to a open cheque book restoration performed by KC AUTOFINISHERS in Cranleigh and by SPIRIT AUTOMOTIVE of Newdigate ( google them they are as good as it gets )
