Thank for looking a this 1962 Ford Consul Classic.
A pretty rare car in it own right as it was only in production between 1961 and 1963. This was the period when Ford made American style cars in the UK , just like the Ford Pilot.
1340cc floor shift car. With styling ques from the Ford Galaxie in America and the rake back rear window of the Anglia. This car has road presence in abundance.
The car is MOT and Tax exempt. With its last MOT expiring in 2018 it had no advisories.
The car starts, drives and stops just a it should and is a pleasure to drive. The seat and carpets were re-upholstered in 2015 so are in great condition. The body work is good and shiny. There are a few areas which are starting to show a very small bit of rust however the body and underneath are solid. I have shown a picture of the headlamp with slight bubbling.
