Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2
Here we have a very rare Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2, this is one of a handful of genuine RTR Spec 2 cars in the UK or Europe. The car is based on the 2018 Mustang GT. The RTR Spec 2 adds visual upgrades to the already handsome Mustang, these will include, side skirts, chin spoiler, rear deck lid spoiler, rear diffuser, upper front grille with additional lights, lower grille, hood extractors, stripes and RTR badges. The Spec 2 also includes suspension upgrades with RTR lowering springs and uprated dampers, as well as RTR front and rear sway bars (Anti-Roll Bars). This car also has the additional option of the 20” RTR Aero 7 Alloys in satin grey, 9. 5” front and 10. 5” rear with Michelin Sport Cup 2 Tyres. All of this improves the handling without affecting the ride comfort and gives the car a fantastic stance that really stands out! Interior wise the car has the RTR gear knob and floor mats. RTR which stands for “Ready to Rock” was started by Vaughn Gittin Jr, who is an American professional drifter. Who won the Formula Drift Championship in 2010 and was awarded the Ace Diver of the Decade Title in 2013. He is also a Ford Brand ambassador and has a long association with the Ford Mustang.
The Mustang GT benefits from a high specification including Ford’s Sync 3 infotainment system including Sat Nav, Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Shaker sound system, DAB, Reversing Camera. The car also has heated and cooled leather seats, Lane departure warning, Pre-collision assistance, Climate control and full digital instrument cluster that changes design depending on the mode that the car is in. The modes include Sport, Race and Drag. The car also benefits from Line Lock that will allow the perfect burnout on the drag strip.
Being a 2018 GT, the car has the Ford 5. 0 V8 Coyote engine with 449ps and 533nm of Torque. This alongside the quad tip exhaust gives the car an epic sound track and performance. The Exhaust is also an active system so nice and quiet in normal mode or loud in race mode and even has a quiet start mode so not to annoy your neighbours. The car also benefits from Brembo six piston callipers to slow things down.
