Up for sale is my NZ new Nissan Laurel SGX Hardtop 3. 0V6 I had planned on keeping it indefinitely, but need to slim down the collection.
In 1985 the Nissan Laurel SGX Hardtop sat firmly at the top of Nissan's executive range in New Zealand priced at $49'150 new it was a serious bit of coin back then, but still it was quite a car for the money.
I'm confident this low mileage (62'000km) example is one of, if not the BEST in NZ the "SGX" Hardtop was built in Japan for export only and in limited numbers so the likelihood of finding better would be difficult, also adding to the rarity of this one is the option pack which added to an already luxury specification higher grade audio system, leather wrapped steering wheel, tilt/ slide sunroof, multi adjust electric driver seat, and reclining rear seat.
Other nice details with this car include the original chrome rectangular exhaust tip, something that would normally of been long lost by now! A tow bar that has never seen a trailer hitch judging by no abrasion on the chrome ball!, original ownership papers, document wallet containing the original warranty and service contract, rare factory parts and service manuals, and 2 nice full colour Nissan Laurel brochures.
The lush red velvet interior is immaculate as you would expect and smells as new thanks to careful non smoking previous owners
The car runs and drives beautifully the servicing is up to date including the timing belt which was replaced
before it's due mileage date and new WOF 17/ 02/ 20 (WOF is like the MOT in UK)
