Powered by the ultra smooth & reliable 1597cc Zetec petrol engine coupled to a 5-Speed manual transmission. On our workshops road-test, she performed exceptionally well with smooth operation of all gears & was a total pleasure to drive, second only to an unused example. The Escort has been maintained exceptionally well despite the low mileage ... amazing!
HISTORY FILE:
This unique & very special Escort was originally supplied & registered by 'Newport Ford' in Gwent to Mr S. Byrne, the elderly gentleman owner, in July 2000. The Escort was his pride & joy, remaining with him until passing away. After his death, the Escort was subsequently registered under his widows name. In essence, husband & wife owned from new.
