We are delighted to present for sale this smart Series 3 soft-top, in popular Deep Bronze Green colour configuration with Limestone wheels.
Externally, the vehicle is largely standard with a recent canvas, bonnet mounted spare, rear grabhandles and towbar and electrics. There are some modern additions, such as the defender-style door mounted mirrors for better visibility, and a front diff guard is fitted underneath the bumper to protect the vehicle if used off-road. The paintwork is of a spray finish type, as the photos show, which is nice to see.
The standard theme of this vehicle continues to the interior, with three recent front standard seats and deluxe matting to the footwells. A slightly smaller steering wheel has been fitted to afford the driver more space. The rear is unfitted, except for a load mat to the floor area. Rear benches can be fitted at £295 for a pair to give seating for four in the rear and bring capacity up to 7 seated including the driver.
Out on the road, this vehicle drives just as it should – the petrol engine is a quiet unit, and she stops well too. The parabolic springs afford a more compliant ride, which is useful when tackling rough terrain (or speedbumps!). Overall, it gives a pleasing period driving experience.
