This is the most magnificent restoration of a P Type MG seen for many years. The car has been completely stripped and re-assembled to full MG PB specification, with new hubs, rebuilt brakes, suspension, steering and radiator. The PB engine has been professionally overhauled with Phoenix counter-balanced crankshaft, matching rods, Cosworth pistons, lightened flywheel, together with the close ratio gearbox . The 939cc engine runs at the correct oil pressure and temperatures. It is fitted with the optional water pump and uses waterless coolant. In addition the car has a new ash frame body, deluxe birds eye maple veneer dashboard with all the correct PB gauges, switches, dash lamps, petrol reserve system, 30mph warning light and working Trafficators ! The panel work and full leather interior is by Collingburn. A new double-duck roof, full & half tonneau covers and full set of side-screens are all included. Pre-War aero screens are fitted together with 4. 50 x 19 Blockley tyres. The car has been "run-in" since the rebuild and drives beautifully. It is in concours condition; there is no doubt about it.
