For sale an original 1964 Mini Moke one of the early one’s ever made. Tax and Mot exempted. Only about 14500 English Mini Mokes were made from 1964 to 1968 most of them went overseas to Caribbean Islands or the Seychelles or Mauritius only about 1500 were sold in the UK. Bought in 2000 had been in a field outside a pub for many years full of chickens i. It was black when I first bought it. I hand painted it red and fitted mini cobra seats with built in seat belts so that I could take the kids for a ride during the summer months in the lake district got it Mot’d. Did this for the next five years probably only done just over 4000 miles since I bought it. For the next 10 years or more on Sorn document while I was working overseas locked away in a farm garage under cover and dry. Since I retired some two years ago have spent my time bringing it back to its original state. Have removed all rust and fibre glass that was holding it together. Where ever possible, repaired panels cutting out rust and welding in sections. Have fitted some new panels like the front and rear panels and the floor sections. The Moke is sitting on genuine 13" copper alloys. Those of you who know anything about English Mokes will know that they were sold with one seat only on 10” steel wheels and a large steering wheel and the early ones painted spruce green. Its painted battleship grey, I still have the 10"steel wheels with new tyres and hub cap trims. Parts obtained from Moke panels and Runamoke for the new Hood Since I last listed it, have fitted a new brake cylinder I have also its 10" steel wheels on crossply tyres
