Description
1961 Ducati Sport 125
Designed by the famous engineer Fabio Taglioni, this design of overhead camshaft singles put Ducati firmly on the map in the 1950’s, winning many major Italian events such as the Milano-Tarnato and the Giro d'Italia races. Over the years the engine grew from 100 to 450cc and these Bevel Ducatis are very collectable now and starting to make serious money as the prices get pulled up by there bigger twin brethren.
This delightful Ducati 125 Sport was imported into the UK last year and is now registered on an age related plate having been inspected and dated by the VMCC and is issued with a dating certificate, confirming she is a matching numbers bike and showing 21, 489 kilometres or 13, 352 miles.
The bike has been fully restored prior to arriving in the UK and is in lovely condition. She has just been gone through and had a tune-up and is a lovely easy starting bike, which is running and riding very well indeed.
These are achingly pretty little bikes and offer a great value as a classic Ducati and is of course classed as Historic, so MOT and Tax exempt.
She comes with a folder of paperwork including the V5 in my name, MOT exemption form, NOVA and importation documents, VMCC dating certificate and correspondence and a useful Ducati Work Shop Manual.
A video of her running can be seen shared; just message me and I will send you a link to the video.
I can send high -res images of the bike to you via We Transfer if required -please just message me.
