For sale is my Meteor Grey 2009 Porsche Cayman 987 Gen2 with a manual gearbox and 3 previous owners, the latter of which owned the car for the last 9 years. Car has always been garaged overnight and when not in use. This is my second (weekend) car. The car currently has 79k on the clock.
This is a Gen2 (facelift) car which benefits from the solid and reliable 2. 9L flat six power plant producing 265BHP. This updated engine does not suffer from the dreaded bore scoring of the 3. 4L or the IMS bearing failure of the 2. 7L. It also falls into the lower road tax bracket.
The car comes with full detailed Porsche service history up until 2015, I have all the original receipts and paperwork, then from 2016 through to 2020 it has full detailed service history that was carried out by Autofarm, again, I have all the original receipts and paperwork to back this up.
For anyone who is not aware of Autofarm, they are a Porsche specialist based in Bicester and have been operating since 1973. I strongly recommend you Google search them if you have not heard of them.
This car has had absolutely no expense spared on it, recently had over £3k worth of work done to it during the latest service by Autofarm.
Recent servicing include drive belt replacements, starter motor replacement, which is a common point of failure on these cars as well as replacement of coolant pipes, also a common failure on these cars, other parts such as exhaust mounts, new front fog lights due to silver inside deteriorating etc. Genuine Porsche parts have been used throughout the servicing and preventative maintenance on this car, I have all invoices.
I have also just had four brand new Kumho PS91's fitted to the newly refurbished genuine Porsche alloy wheels and centre caps at a combined cost of over £1000.
I am able to sell the car at a reduced cost with the original wheels and Michelin tyres on if this is something you maybe interested in.
Car is always washed at home by myself, no swirls in the paint work, I only use Auto Glym or Auto Finesse products on my vehicles. I have recently, polished, waxed and coated the entire vehicle including newly refurbished wheels in Si02 (Auto Finesse Aqua Coat) which is a kind of ceramic coating which gives the paintwork a more durable and glossy finish to protect it against brake dust and other contaminants.

Never been involved in any accidents and never stolen. The car has a few marks on the centre console of the interior which I have been meaning to get repaired but have not yet got around to doing it. Apart from that, this car wants for absolutely nothing, there is not a single dent on the body work and all the paintwork is original. No damage to seat bolsters, carpets, no signs of wear on the gear knob or steering wheel. I genuinely don't believe you will find a better example of a Porsche Cayman.
