Description
Valentino Rossi Honda CBR 600 F Sport
This is the official Factory Replica, produced as a limited edition tribute to Rossi's first Premier Class championship in 2001.
The bike is in fantastic condition. It has been really well looked after by it's previous owners and I have kept it in a garage and looked after it since buying it from Chris Walker Kawasaki four years ago.
The most impressive aspect of this bike is clearly the amazing paint job by Honda. It isn't just a bunch of stickers thrown on as with some replicas, it is a full paint job replicating his 2001 world championship winning RCV!
As mentioned before, the bike was a limited edition and the value is only going to go up, particularly with us seemingly approaching the GOAT's retirement!
Now is the perfect time to grab yourself a tribute to Rossi that not only looks good, but is a genuinely great bike!
The bike has a titanium Scorpion end can which sounds really nice but isn't too loud. The screen has also been upgraded to a tinted double bubble screen. The bike also has R&G crash bungs fitted.
It is really good fun to ride, it's performance is far beyond most people's abilities and it is very forgiving on the road.
Having moved on to this from a 1989 ZXR 750, the first thing I noticed was the incredible acceleration on hand! The bike is very light and absolutely flies!
The handling is really accurate, you can just keep on leaning further and further and it will give you more and more grip.
I have used the bike for tours of Wales and considering it is a sportsbike, it is incredibly comfortable for long distance journeys!
A lot of people describe it as two bikes in one. If you want to cover long distances you can keep the revs low, sit up and cruise along in comfort. However, if you want to put a massive grin on your face, let the revs drive past 9000rpm and feel the bike come alive! I've never tried it on a track, but I know it would be phenomenal to open it up!
I have owned it for four years and it had a new sprocket and chain set last year. Other than that, the bike has been so easy to look after and hasn't needed anything!
The bike has loads of service history (8 stamps in service book) and it was last serviced 3000 miles ago. The government website also has MOT history going back to 2006.
