When we were offered the chance to bring a car of this quality back into stock at WRCC we nearly bit the current owners hand off!
This is the second time we have had the pleasure of this 1952 Split screen, her current owner no longer has the time to show her the attention she deserves so asked us to find a new home for her.
Previously the last of her (only 3) owners was a Morris Minor specialist in London, this was his personal car and a concourse winner, she comes with piles of history, awards and paperwork to verify this.
Although she is no longer concourse standard as she has been used she would be the ideal addition to any private collection or be used as a show car, alternatively with little time and effort she could be restored to concourse.
Exterior wise the Clarendon Grey paint on the car is very nice indeed, with the odd very Minor blemish here and there, but in overall superb order as is the chrome and anything else that you can see on the outside of the car.
We fitted modern indicators hidden under the bumpers for the previous owner as a safety precaution, these can quite easily be removed if required.
Mechanically the Splitty is well sorted and unlike most cars of the era is a pleasure to drive, its smooth with no knocks or bangs. The engine is strong and sounds like a sewing machine when running, The transmission is also smooth and changes through all the gears cleanly. So in the mechanics department she gets a clean bill of health!
The underside of the car is in fantastic order also with no signs of rust or rot so the new owner can have peace of mind in this area also.
As can be seen from the pictures the interior of the car is also excellent, with good seats, carpets trims and headliner its totally what you would expect from a car of this caliber.
In Summary this is a superb quality early Minor that is worth every penny of its price tag, it looks top class and drives the same, but don’t take our word for it please come and have a look!
The Minor comes with 12 Months MOT and 6 Months Momentum warranty and 6 Months free breakdown cover should the screen price be paid.
She will also be fully serviced to WRCC’s rigorous schedule and be treated against corrosion if required before leaving
Transport can be arranged both nationally and internationally at a pre-agreed rate.
