Hi and thanks for taking the time to view my Mercedes-Benz G wagon for sale.
The car has recently undergone a 2 year restoration by a Marine engineer at enormous expense, some £45000 worth of investment has gone into the build, not including labour which is well into the hundreds of hours,
No stone was left unturned and it’s been upgraded in every single way possible, I have over 250 photos of every stage of the restoration from the bare shell.
To start, the all important drive train is a Completely rebuilt OM606TD 300td engine (the most desirable conversion), a brand new Hybrid turbo, mated to a fully rebuilt Mercedes 6 speed manual Transmission.
To give a run down of what’s been replaced during the build
Extensive body work done with genuine merc panels replacing all rust areas. New wings, new rear quarter, new tailgate skin etc.
Interior stripped and insulated throughout with auto acoustic and thermal insulation.
Brand new hybrid turbo
Om603 mechanic fuel pump rebuilt with upgraded elements. Good for about 400hp with bigger turbo, currently runs around 260hp.

New intercooler with new pipework
Aluminium air intake box
New optima yellow gella battery
Refurbed manifolds
Fully refurbed main and aux fuel tank with RENU coating
Every hose has been replaced for new from braided staibless oil cooler hoses right through to windscreen
Wash hoses.
New windscreen
New electric window motors/ mechanisms
2 temp heated front seats
Fully reupholstered interior in dark grey diamond stitched nappa leather with blasted and powder coated frames
Rebuilt brake calipers
New rear brake drums and shoes
New front discs and pads
All new 2" lifted raptor offroad suspension
Audi daytona matte grey paint job(no wrap)
Expedition roof rack
2 x rear leds, 2 x side lights, led roof bar, 2 x front led spots all operated with individual switch connected to rocker panel on centre console.. wired through 2 plugs fed ubder the bonnet which can be disconnected to remove roof rack.
Outward facing wheel carrier
Car originally had steel wheels, bought and refurbed genuine w460 15" alloys x 5 with brand new 32" bf all terrains.
Toad alarm system with central locking, interior sensors immobilises ignition after 30seconds no use.
Quick release momo steering wheel
New led headlights , led marker lights and new white indicator lights

G raid aluminium rear ladders
New snorkel
Brake calipers, rear drums, springs and crankcase all powder coated to a matching yellow
New soundsystem. Jbl tweeters in 2 front doors, 4 x new sony speakers, 2 in dash 2 in rear quarters. 1 underseat kenwood subwoofer with wired in remote.
New diff oils.

This is just to list most of the keys points the list goes on and on. Parts have been sourced from all over the world from asia, u. s. a, australia, europe.
Over the past 2 weeks the car runs lumpy on start up. Once warm it’s fine and performs as it should. It will require someone “hands on” to make some adjustments and tuning to Achieve the best results from such a powerful conversion but It is useable and drivable as it is, with this in mind I have reduced the asking price considerably to far less than the car owes me to aid a quick sale and give someone an opportunity to buy a very highly specced G wagon at an affordable price.
