It is a pleasure for our garage to be able to offer you this particularly attractive Porsche 911T with its 2. 2 liter engine. Year of construction in 1971, this Targa is one of the "original models" but already has the striking and wide rear window which replaced the soft top which was installed in its place in the first Targa models. It comes from the USA and was imported to Spain in 2005,
The name Targa is derived from the Targa Florio long distance race in Sicily, which Porsche has won on several occasions.
This 911T is characterized by its particularly good condition: the car has been bodied by a body craftsman and repainted in the original color and is presented in its yellow color with an excellent view. The engine has been fully serviced by a Porsche specialist (invoice available) and runs flawlessly, exhibiting the typical unadulterated boxer engine sound. The suspension was replaced with Koni plus a performance stabilizer bar and a carbon front strut bar was installed.
The vehicle is a pleasure to drive for its simplicity and at the same time for its efficiency, it shows no weaknesses: the energetic brakes, the stability and agility typical of this light model, (1020) kg, the engine response with his excellent couple, etc. Experienced Porsche drivers will no doubt get behind the wheel.
The interior has a subtle age-appropriate patina and is also in good original condition - modern speakers, cell phone mounts etc. have never been used. which could cause unpleasant damage to the original parts today. The door panels have been replaced with the closures, but the originals are kept and the original steering wheel has been covered in leather.
In addition, it is a vehicle that has been very well maintained on a daily basis and with very little use, of course, it was parked in a private garage, covered with its cover, which also contributed to its excellent appearance.
Upon entering Spain, the cataloging of historic vehicles from which it currently benefits was carried out, and on October 5, it passed the official technical control valid for 4 years without a single failure (we have the original report)
Today this Porsche 911T is a real treat for collectors and friends of the Porsche brand, which is not easy to find in this magnificent condition. It is a Machine Number and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Preserving this car is certainly a solid investment while enjoying it.
