For sale is my 1986 fxr, this is one of the sought after early evo models with the upright rear shocks.
the motor as built by a famous harley engine builder with a sands 89" stroker kit, can, flowed heads, carb and a very expensive exhaust system. The motor was dyno ed and all components matched for max power
this bike is not for the weak hearted. The bike was run on a dyno a few months ago and declared ulez exempt, (no congestion charge)
i have the dyno results, 95ftlb torque and 75 bhp at the back wheel
the front end is from a twin cam roadking and provides twin four pot calipers which is essential as you need good brakes on this beast.
i have used the bike for a year or so but i am more of a classic harley guy so it need to go to make space for another panhead.
the bike runs great at 90mph + really smooth and unfussed, from 90mph it leaps forward to the 120mph mark, i shut the throttle at this stage!
good tyres brakes, chain , battery etc , nice clean condition, i usually repaint the exhaust every few months but have left it in honest condition, lots of powdercoat, frame, wheels etc
the motor alone costs £8000 to build
strictly no test rides without full funds in my pocket
early evos are becoming classics and are sought after, this bike is really well sorted
