Yamaha SZR660 Very special " One Off " .
This particular bike is the one Yamaha should have made in the first place.
Martin Sweet engine, 102 Wisco forged piston, 690cc, Stage 3 big valve gassflowed head with titanium valves and springs, stage 4 camshaft, Carrillo forged rod, billet solid balancer gear, all new uprated bearings, seals, gaskets etc, High pressure electric fuel pump, Martin Sweet full race exhaust ( not loud, passes track noise tests ) Mikuni flatslides, stand alone programmable ignition, twin disc conversion, Brembo wheels, Brembo brakes, Fully adjustable suspension, Manston fork internals, digital temp guage, one off rear sets.
Had new tyres, chain sprockets etc.
Engine has only done 750km since rebuild, most on the road with one track day session at Brands and one at the 2018 Endurance Legends at Donnington.
Bike has not been used in 2 years due to work and family commitments but has just undergone a full service by Martin Sweet in readiness for the potential new owner.
Engine is capable of reving to 9. 5k for racing but we set the limit at a conservative 8. 5k for road use at which it made 76hp at the rear wheel with power still climbing.
Bike is in good used condition, i am the 3rd owner, only 13245km from new.
An absolute riot to ride, basically a TZR250 with a stonking engine and loads of grunt.
Handles and turns like its on rails. Will upset all your mates on their expensive big sports bikes when they can't keep up with you on B road blasts and round Brands Club circuit !!!
