Description
When the Lion Purred
Throughout the 1950s, the French motorcycle tried to make a comeback, accompanied by the scooter and the moped. In this flourishing context, the Peugeots, simple and inexpensive, get their pin out of the game perfectly.
Bought and imported from Picardie six years ago, fully UK registered in my name.
Restored by the previous owner as close as possible to original colours.
A true competitor in style to the ubiquitous BSA Bantam.
Regrettably now for sale following drop in work due to Covid-19.
Included is a technical manual (in French) plus parts lists/ diagrams and an interesting copy of ‘La Vie de La Moto’ from 2006 featuring Peugeots of the era.
Can be seen and heard running on YouTube.. search: 'Peugeot 57TC (1955)' or message me for the link. Thanks for your interest in this fine motorcycle.
