Matchless Silver Arrow 400cc 18° V-twin, sidevalve. The rear suspension is a cantilever design using two springs and friction dampers beneath the saddle, very similar to the 1928 Vincent HRD design.
The bike is in very nice mecanical order. It has been restored in the 1980s and haven't run since. It has the tank and 3 speed gearbox as in 1929 and 1930 model, but I'm not sure which year it is.
