Yamaha XS750E.
This bike was first registered in late 1979 and is now re registered as an historic vehicle making it MOT and tax exempt. The 750E had ironed out some of the issues with earlier models and increased power. It has had: new Avon road rider tyres, a new battery, new primary chain, new cam chain, one new exhaust valve, all new oils, oil filter, new CV carb diaphragms, new main and pilot jets. Carbs have been ultrasonically cleaned and professionally balanced. Cylinder head removed, to replace timing chain, and de coked, new head gasket. Tappets professionally adjusted. Vacuum petrol taps have been replaced with manual taps from an XS650, the old taps are available. I have also fitted an XS850 oil cooler. It has no kick start. Starts and runs well, a really nice cruising/ touring bike. It has an original Yamaha bikini fairing, currently removed. Very original bike, it even has the original toolkit. Selling to make space.
