1999 Honda Prelude 2. 2i VTEC 4WS H22A8 BB8 Red Top Motegi Edition, Only 49, 000 miles + FSH, Pristine Condition, FSH, MOT’d, Serviced, in Pristine Condition!
Here I have my much loved Honda Prelude 2. 2i H22A8 VTEC 4WS Motegi Edition for sale. It has only covered 48, 000 miles from new and comes with Full Service History. It comes with 12 months MOT (August 2020) and has recently been serviced including Air Conditioning clean and re-gas (August 2021).
This Prelude is a Genuine Motegi edition and is part of the only few made. This Prelude should not be mistaken for the earlier models.
The Prelude is pristine condition and is finished in Crustal Blue Metallic. It’s in original condition with no boy racer modification whatsoever. The bodywork is like new with no dents, scratches or rust. I have always garaged the car in my ownership due to the rarity of this car and its condition. The car is always hand washed by myself and polished every other weekend regardless.
The Honda is equipped with:

- Distributor O-ring and VTEC solenoid gasket replaced (Carried out by Red-R Performance Honda Specialists) 2019
- Intermediate service inc gearbox and breaks fluid replacements - 2020
- Cambelt, balancer belt, alternator belt and power steering belt replaced @49, 000 miles (Carried out by Red-R Performance – Honda Specialists) 2021
- New centre pipe & catalyst convertor - (Carried out by Red-R Performance – Honda Specialists) 2021
- Complete coolant system flushed and renewed (Carried out by Red-R Performance – Honda Specialists) - January 2021
- Fully undersealed and protected, ceramic coated protected paintwork - January 2021
The Prelude drives like new with no issues, its smooth and very responsive! The VTEC kicks in well at 5, 500rpm with no smoke etc. a lot of money has been invested into the car with no expense spared.
I owned this Prelude 2 years ago and recently bought back as the previously needed to sell due to unforeseen circumstances. He continued to maintain well and garaged it to keep it in good condition.
