A restored MG Midget with round arches in lovely condition with a very rare hardtop.
HISTORY
Purchased locally in the UK by the current owner and shipped to Italy for restoration that was completed in 2008, our Midget stayed in Italy until 2019 and has stayed in remarkable condition as its not been in a cold, damp climate for over 10 years. The car was completely stripped including the engine and every part refurbished or replaced. We have a pile of old photos to show some of that process. We have a bill showing recent spend of over £3000 to improve a few areas including the interior to bring the car up to a very nice standard. We have a pile of old MOT certs which suggests a total mileage of 126, 700 miles. We have a pile of invoices from pre-restoration and the V5 shows 9 previous owners. Even though it doesn't need one the current MOT expires Jan 2022.
SPECIFICATION
1275cc with twin carbs, round rear arches, full tonneau cover, small tonneau, rostyle wheels including spare, Mota-lita steering wheel, seatbelts, very rare hardtop.
CONDITION
An older restoration but in lovely condition throughout, paint is very nice with no hints of rust anywhere. Chrome is shiny with no pitting just the windscreen surround has the usual marks, the interior is amazing with recently restored seats, chrome door sills and a Mota-lita steering wheel. Wheels are unmarked, the glass is very good with a few scratches here and there and the underside is as good as the top. Engine bay is very clean indeed. In the boot is solid with a spare unmarked Rostyle wheel with brand new tyres all-round. The hardtop is in great condition with just some small marks to the rear window and the full-size tonneau is very clean. The smaller tonneau is nice with just one popper missing. The fabric roof is in great condition with just one small rip to one of the smaller side windows. We have 2 keys and a clear Motor Check certificate.
