Hi all, I offer for sale this lovely Mk2 series 1 Lotus Cortina which was first registered in august 1967.
The Lotus is in lovely condition and looks to be very solid underneath and doesn’t look like she has had lot’s of metal work in her life time but she has had some paint work at some point which look to been a good standard but it is now showing some signs of age in places but is sill very respectable.
Mechanically the Lotus is faultless and drives superb with no problem from what I can see, the engine, gearbox, rear axle, brakes, Suspension and steering are all very good with no nasty noises or wines.
The engine was rebuilt around 6 months by toovey race engines to a great spec and the engine made 140 bhp on the dyno which I have all the paper work to back up the rebuild and the dyno print out.
The car looks to be very original with a lot of it original lotus parts including its very rare split prop-shaft.
The Lotus has just had a fresh 12 months mot so she is now ready to get in and drive way in the summer months ahead.
These cars are becoming very rare and very hard to fine so dont let this lovely classic pass you by.
