previous owner even kept fuel receipts!)
HPI clear.
High spec model with full black leather Konig bucket seats, sunroof, cruise control, armrest, heated seats, electric windows/ stubby electric mirrors.
Clifford 650 alarm system fitted professionally with spare key. 2 original keys also included.
I purchased the car about 2 years ago from Belfast and put on about 15, 000 miles. I travel to Wolverhampton from Birmingham for work so this is all motorway mileage. I am a doctor and have taken care of the car and have always kept on top of maintenance regardless of cost.
Mechanical/ Electrics-
No faults at all with the car. The engine, gearbox, clutch and suspension are perfect. It never overheats or uses oil or water. It drives beautifully for an R32.
Recent work during my ownership includes -
Full service at VW specialists 'VAGcar' less than 6 months ago; including sparkplugs and haldex service with all genuine VW parts.
New H&R 20mm/ 30mm lowering springs (have OEM springs too).
Powerflex top mounts, wishbone, steering rack & anti roll bar bushes (don't consider these as a modification. These parts aren't cheap but will last the lifetime of the car).
New ball joints & tie rod ends.
Fully adjustable rear control arms.
Full brake system overhaul including rear pads (less than 2, 000 miles ago), front discs and pads (less than 1, 000 miles ago) with brake fluid change.
Exterior -
Bodywork is near perfect. It's had paintwork when needed and is in amazing condition as seen in the photos. I've owned more than one of these and this one is in amazing condition for a 20 year old modern classic. It has been used daily for the last 2 years so don't expect a concours example but it isn't far off.
No rust at all - underside has been fully undersealed by the previous owner.
Alloy wheels have been fully refurbished (not cheap powdercoat job) to factory spec - not a single mark on them and they are wrapped in brand new Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.
Interior -
Interior is in excellent condition overall and the Konig seats are in very good condition too, with no rips, tears or bolster wear. I've even got genuine brand new car mats that will come with the car! There is the odd mark on the inside but again I would be surprised if you could find a better example.
Overall a fantastic opportunity to buy a modern classic. A great investment and rising in value every day.
