Superb, rare and beautiful Series III Daimler Double Six V12 5. 3 litre in champagne with lovely beige leather upholstery, burr walnut dashboard and door trims. Fully equipped with automatic transmission, air-conditioning, power steering, electric sunroof, electric windows and door mirrors, central locking, “pepper pot” alloy wheels and so on. This car will undergo a full service and check-over by us prior to sale and comes with a mechanical warranty. Overall, this classic Daimler is in superb condition and, if required, we can arrange export to the UK or anywhere in the world. For potential SA buyers please note that the registration number does NOT come with the car! Geoff Connor has been a Jaguar fanatic for over half a century and bought his first cat in 1979 (a one-year old black XJS V12 5. 3 litre). Upon retirement, Geoff decided to start a business specialising in the service, repair and restoration of Jaguar and Daimler cars of all ages. We are closely associated with the Jaguar Club Northern Regions here in Johannesburg and many of its members are regular clients. In our fully equipped workshop in Wadeville (SE Johannesburg) we have the latest Jaguar-specific diagnostic equipment, three electro-hydraulic lifts, a range of special tools and five highly experienced mechanics. We also have a separate unit containing our beating area and a professional state-of-the-art paint spray booth, so we are able to carry out full restorations. We now stock and fit coil-over conversion kits for later XJ8/ XJR air suspension models, we carry a large stock of new and used spare parts and we have "The Jaguar Exchange", where one can find a selection of classic used Jaguars for sale on consignment. However, we also become aware of many classic Jaguars and Daimlers, some “barn finds”, which the owners wish to dispose of, from the early big saloons (SS, Mark IV, Mark V, Mark VII, Mark VIII, Mark IX, etc) to Mark II, 420, 3. 8S, E-Type, XJ6, XJ12, XJS, Daimler Double Six, X-Type, S-Type, XJR, XJ8, XKR, XK8, XF, F-Type and so on. The big advantage of cars here on the high veld in central SA is that they are invariably rust-free and prices are very attractive in comparison to the UK, USA, Australia and so on. We have an agent in Australia who can assist you there and we are able to export cars to any global destination.
