Saab 900 Turbo 16v (1986)
Immaculate condition with low mileage for year 137, 924. Manual transmission in rare Odoardo Grey (colour named after Odoardo Pagani) with cloth interior in fantastic condition. Headlining also in great condition. This car will appreciate in value and is a solid investment either to be used daily or undertake minor works to be a concours show winner.
The previous owner cherished this car making tasteful upgrades such as the Abbotts Racing front grille and Whaletail spoiler which can be removed if you wish to do so. Due to poor heath the previous owner placed the car into dry storage in a family run garage in 2002, where it remained for the next 18 years. Hence why this car has not suffered from the usual rust issues.
Car has been inspected by a well-respected Saab Independent garage who confirmed the underneath is solid. There is no rust on the door bottoms or in rear boot floor, drive shaft tunnels are solid, bonnet is in excellent condition and no rust on the wheel arches. There is minor surface rust in the engine bay and a small 5 pence piece size spot on fuel cap. Please note there are storage related marks to the front and rear bumper and driver side aero panel. Also, driver side front wheel arch moulding is chipped.
Everything works fine, engine and gearbox have no issues whatsoever. The car drives exceptionally well, just like it did 34 years ago. Engine is full of life and still puts a smile on my face when the turbo kicks in. Suspension is solid (no knocks or bangs) and brakes are sharp as new discs and pads have been fitted. Brand-new Toyo Proxy tyres fitted to professionally refurbished wheels which are unmarked.
The car has been well maintained with 20 stamps in the service book.

In my ownership the following work has been completed by an Independent Saab garage at cost of £1, 700.
1) Remove fuel pump, clean fuel tank and fit siphon
2) Remove faulty alarm wiring
3) Replacement lead from coil to ECU
4) Fit new Ntc sensor
5) Replace Air Mass Meter
6) New upper n/ s & o/ s swivel & bolts
7) Fit new front and rear brake disc's
8) Fix dash wiring fault
9) Replace Anti-roll bar D bushes
10) Replace exhaust tail pipe (OEM)
11) New wiper blades
12) Major Service (oil change/ anti-freeze/ cabin pollen filter/ distributor cap/ rotor arm)
13) O/ s Track Rod End
14) Fit new aerial mast
15) New Toyo Proxy tyres fitted all round
16) Wheels professionally refurbished
17) New MOT (Pass with no advisories)
