Description
This is a 1982 Toyota Hilux LHD Mk1 4WD with an 18R petrol engine, comes with V5.
The engine, gearbox, chassis and tray are from a 1982 UK Hilux with just 45K miles (as it was used only as an agricultural crop sprayer)
The cab and interior are from a 1982 USA Toyota Hilux Mk1 from northern California, as the previous one was too rusted.
The engine ran and gearbox and clutch all work, but I have since had the carb removed as it was faulty so this will need replacing (about £70 for new on eBay) along with sparks and leads etc and a new battery.
The chassis from the cab back was sand blasted and recoated last year so is all good and the rear tray is also solid. However, the cab will need filling or welding, having gone on the roof in a few spots (see photos) and around parts of the windscreen (which also needs replacing as has crack) and footwell. The engine bay, cab rear, sills and arches are largely rust free though.
Will need transporting as no carb on engine.
