Furlonger are delighted to offer this very well presented Ferrari 328 GTB, 1 of 53 U. K. supplied examples with ABS, accompanied by an exceptional service history.
Supplied by Furlonger to its current custodian in the Summer of 2021, the 328 GTB benefits from a recent comprehensive list of preparation works, including a service, cambelt replacement, new tyres and power steering kit.
The Ferrari 328 was produced from 1985-1989 as the successor to incredibly successful and iconic 308 and continued to build on the legacy of mid-engine V8 Ferrari sports cars. In the 5 years of production, over 6, 000 328 GTS left the gates of Maranello, however only 1, 344 328 GTBs were built in that time. The reason for this was such strong demand for the model in the USA, where the removable targa top was a desirable feature.
In total, just 130 Ferrari 328 GTBs were supplied new in the UK market, with just 53 of these examples being built with the important upgrade of ABS. We are fortunate to offer one of these rare cars, that was supplied new by JCT 600 in January 1989 in the strongest colour combination of Rosso Corsa over Crema. Tony Willis of the Maranello Archives has confirmed that this 328 retains matching numbers and matching colours as per original specification.
Having covered a total of just 41, 000 miles this highly original 328 GTB presents in exceptional condition in all regards which is testament to the consistent servicing that it has enjoyed throughout its life. The majority of the service history is itemised below, with extensive records from Ferrari main agents and notable UK specialists. This is further complemented by its original service book which has been regularly stamped and original Ferrari tool kit.
The Ferrari 328 is rapidly becoming a highly useable classic car, with the GTB representing an extremely rare variant of an 80s icon. This car presents and performs to the very highest level and would complement the finest of Ferrari collections.
