1994 Mercedes-Benz SL 500 R129
One from our private collection is this beautiful 1994 Mercedes 500 SL R129 V8.
Originally supplied by Mercedes-Benz of Stratford, London. We even have its pre delivery inspection checklist! It's only had three former keepers from brand new and we have its original service booklet that contains full service history from Mercedes-Benz.
It comes with a V5 logbook that states two former keepers, it has two keys, an MOT until July 2022 that has no advisories and we have its original wallet with all its content.
It also comes with its original tool kit, wind deflector, original Mercedes-Benz tailored mats and the original spare wheel that still has its tag.
It drives excellently with a smooth automatic gearbox, very good handling, responsive brakes and its accelerates very well. The V8 engine idles perfectly and sounds very sweet - we can provide a video for you.
The interior is in excellent condition with little wear. The electric seats work perfectly, both seats fold forwards as they should, the stereo is a Sony CD with a Multichanger and that all works as it should. Both heated seats work in the front, both electric windows work and everything works as it should.
The bodywork is in very good condition for its age, their are some blemishes here and there but nothing that a 26 year old car wouldn't have. It looks stunning in Brilliant silver and with the mat grey bumpers - all original bodywork. There is a small amount of rust on one side of the hardtops corner - very common issue for the R129s.
The electric roof all operates perfectly and as does the hard top. The soft top is in excellent condition and the plastic rear screen has recently been replaced - you can view photos on our website with the roof off.
All the alloys are in very good condition and we have just had one of the centres replaced so they are all now like new.
