It’s rare to find a right hand drive camper of this age that is in such good condition and also so original. The vehicle has done just over 75, 000 miles, has the original 1600cc engine which still runs sweetly, plus inside the van there are all the original Devon fittings which include a cooker hob and grill, two tables, a sink and water storage, a cool box plus various cupboards, drawers and under seat storage for all your belongings. There is room to sleep four with two hammocks in the pop top and a double bed that can be made up in the body of the van. The van was first registered in March 1971, has been serviced regularly ever since, wax oiled underneath and we are only the third owners having purchased her thirteen years ago in 2008. Included with the vehicle there is a tow bar mounted cycle rack with electrics to a separate number plate board, the original VW awning and an Alpine FM/ DAB radio CD player. Over the past thirteen years we have been on some amazing adventures with Clara which has left us with some wonderful memories, but after a recent house move Clara no longer has a garage to spend the winter in which is the reason we are going to have to reluctantly part with her.
