Very reliable classic W123.
Drives perfectly with no issues, a lot of work has been carried on on this car over the last 6 months. Lots of paper work, work all carried out by Mercedes Benz specialists. The car drives and feels just as it should.
Some of the work carried out recently :
•Full Service, Inspection & MOT to include Air & Oil Filter Flush and Further Change.
•Complete ignition system overhaul to include Spark Plugs, Distributor Cap & Rotor Arm.
•Carburettor stripped, cleaned, oiled with new gasket and flange spacer to rectify air leaks.
•Front cylinder head camshaft cover gasket replaced to rectify oil leak.
•CO & HC Emission Levels fine-tuned for MOT on Bosch KTS Gas Analyser.
•Transmission drained and serviced with new oil, filter and gaskets. All six leaks rectified.
•Complete front suspension overhaul to include everything from steering box to the front wheels – Drag
Link, Steering Damper, Inner & Outer Track Control Rods, Front Lower Ball Joints, Front Upper Ball Joints,
Front Upper Control arms and all bushes.
•Front Wheel Bearings replaced & adjusted with fresh Grease.
•Steering Box removed and sent for rebuild, reinstated and power steering fluid system flushed with new oil.
•All four tyres replaced with Continental ECO Contacts.
•Front braking system completely overhauled to include new Brake Callipers, Brake Discs, Brake Pads,
Sensors and Brake Hoses.
•Rear braking system overhauled to include new Brake Discs, Brake Pads and Brake hoses.
•Brake System Completely flushed with new fluid.
•Four Wheel Laser Alignment to Mercedes Specification.
•Windscreen wash reservoir drained, removed, bleached and reinstated with new pump, hoses, jets and
wiper blades.
•Fine tuning.
•Engine bay detailed.
•Brand new distributer coil
•New distributer plugs and cable
•New OEM exhaust manifold to air cleaner hose from reinstated.
Engine rebuild Approx. 6000 miles ago.
