This is a beautiful example of an unrestored condition, perfectly spec’d Ferrari Testarossa. A highly sought after first production year car – that means it’s a ‘Monodado’ and ‘Monospecchio’ version with one wheel nut in the middle and one wing mirror on the driver’s side, halfway along the A-pillar. It is believed to be one of only 94 right-hand-drive ‘Monospecchio’ cars produced.
Originally supplied by Maranello Concessionaires this stunning Testarossa was the first car of its type delivered into Australia in July 1985. The car was subsequently imported into the UK in 2015 (one previous UK owner).
In good condition throughout and due to its time in the dry climate of Australia the underbody of the car is in excellent condition and shows none of the typical signs of corrosion seen in UK delivered cars of the era.

Revealed at the 1984 Paris Motor Show as a successor to the 512 BBi, the name now part of automotive folklore means “red head” and was a throwback reference to the famous sports racing 250 Testa Ross of the 1950s.
Penned by the legendary Pininfarina, the most recognisable features of the Testarossa are the deep and long horizontal strakes running the length of both doors to feed air into the side mounted radiators.
Power for the Testarossa comes from a mid-mounted, 4. 9-liter, 48-valve, flat-12, producing 380 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque—enough to propel the car to 100 kmh in just over five seconds and on to a top speed just shy of 290 kmh. A five-speed gearbox put all that power to the rear wheels, and suspension was independent all around.
