For sale, my beloved Triumph Vitesse MK2 rally car in original Valencia blue. Manufactured 19th December 1968. Has had a body off restoration and respray by local classic car garage in the winter of 2018 – 2019 (invoices and loads of photos available on USB stick).
Has the 6 cylinder 2 litre engine with ample power and torque. Reconditioned 1¾ SU carburettors. Close ratio gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears. Quaife limited slip differential. Rotoflex rear suspension changed to swing spring conversion. Adjustable shock absorbers. High level SS exhaust. Double fuel tanks. Professional ‘half’ roll cage. Recaro seats with four point safety harnesses. Comes complete with two sets of refurbished wheels/ tyres.
Due to its age and rarity, eligible for most (if not all) National and International classic car rallies.
Comes with Heritage Certificate and FIVA Identity Card (‘Passport’).

The only niggling bits are that the doors need a fair push to shut. The passenger door doesn’t open from the inside and the passenger window is hard to wind down, which probably just needs adjusting.
Due to health and change of plans, only rallied a couple of times. Hope someone else uses it to its full potential.
