Sad to say that due to lack of use I am selling my much loved Corsair, restored 2009 and probably covered less than 2000 miles. All bodywork restored at a Ford dealer by an old body technician that worked on Corsairs back in the day. New front wing lower repair panels let in, resprayed in original Goodwood Green that still looks great, original Green interior trim is great condition as is head lining. Engine rebuild using heavy duty bearings on main and big ends, new rings cam bearings and followers NOS GT camshaft NOS inlet manifold NOS valves. Many new hoses etc Kenlow fan and override switch . Engine is strong and runs very well and quite. NOS 2000e gearbox new clutch and bearing prop shaft refurbed with new UJs and balanced, 3. 77 diff with all new bearings new half shaft bearings new brake shoes stainless exhaust 5. 5” Girling power stop servo lowered on Lotus 5. 5 original steels
Rev counter reconditioned to work with Luminition electronic ignition NOS fuel and temp gauge and sender units Kenwood amp and speakers hidden and iPhone connection to play music. NOS bumpers and front ind/ side light units H4 flat headlights period double anti roll bar and rear spax adjustable dampers. Probably forgot stuff it’s in very good Order but not a trailer queen GT spec but not on V5 if it was a Mk 1 Cortina it would be £5k more. Please call for a chat, no time wasters please
