This Volkswagen T2 Bay Window Devon Moonraker is the most original one on the market today.
The 2. 0 Petrol Engine fitted was the best engine used for this model but to see one in a 1979 vehicle is extremely rare.
The logbook V/ 5 Shown in the photograph is the one and only owner who handed it over to his nephew when he could no longer drive. It was kept in storage and not used.
The odometer shows 24, 000 miles which is correct and accurate.
The exterior has had a couple of paint touch ups but is completely original as is the interior. Nothing has been altered or adapted save for two new gas struts on the roof which had started failing.
The vehicle was given a full Ziebart treatment when supplied new, certificate shown in photos. This explains the lack of any rust throughout.
All the original fittings, fixings, picnic table, spare wheel, handbook, etc are in the vehicle.
