Selling my 1981 Austin mini city and has just qualified for historic vehicle status so mot and tax free, it has covered just 31 nearly 32k miles, it’s an original unrestored car and wears its age very well, has extremely minimal rust and certainly does not need restoring or panel work just drive away and enjoy, it is not a showroom piece it has the odd dent and paintwork as you would expect on a 40 year old car the previous owner spent a lot on recommissioning the braking system with new master cylinder cooper s disc set up hoses etc it did have 12 inch mini lights on it and I had cooper s wheels to hand so they are on it but steel wheels are correct for original, sills are original and solid has had 2 small localised patches to a reasonable standard for the day I’d imagine floors original and good rear subframe very solid not even flakey I waxoyld the underside as soon as I got it, mot for another 6 or 7 months I believe but qualifies for historic status, I will be sorry to wave it away but needing to downsize
