About the vehicle:
This 1975 MG Midget finished in Vermillion Red with black vinyl upholstery is a fantastic entry level classic which could be used and enjoyed as a daily or regularly used vehicle or kept for the show season.
The paintwork on the car is very tidy and uniform in colour, with the interior absolutely immaculate. Although we do not have a receipt for the job/ parts, we have been told the hood has been replaced since the previous keeper purchased the vehicle in 2017 and the condition of the hood would show this to be true.
There are two repairs to the floor pan underneath the car, although these have been done tidily and do not need any further repairs and can be inspected on a ramp by any potential purchasers.
The engine and box are smooth with no problems noted, there’s no smoking, knocking or any dreaded strange noises. The car runs and drives entirely as you’d expect and is a great example of a Midget.
Overall, the car is very original and hasn’t been modified and mucked about with, making it a great standard car to enjoy as is or a solid car to put your own personal touches onto.
The car has had two former keepers since 1989 and the previous owners have both been very mechanically minded and undertaken all of the work themselves to a very high standard. With this, the car is mechanically very sound but unfortunately does not have a vast expanse of paperwork with it. All tyres are dated 2017.
