It is with regret that I offer for sale my VW Corrado VR6. I have owned the car since 2005 and it was my daily driver until 2011, when the recession and years of pay freezes forced me to SORN her.
In 2018 I began getting her ready to hit the road again, but a forced relocation and the pandemic meant that she didn't actually get back on the road until Feb 2021.
She has been on the road for about a year now. All in I have spent over £2, 000 on parts and labour since Aug 2020 and now she's running really well.
This car is 28 years old and as such, there are a few issues which I will detail below, but she is a good, honest little car and with a bit of time and TLC she will be a great little car again (with a big fun engine!)
Things to be aware of:
-Paint is showing its age in places
-Rust on driver's front wheel-arch, confirmed as surface by the garage at MOT
-Cloth interior is sagging slightly and driver's bolster is a bit worn
-Passenger side electric window not working, relay pings but window doesn't move
-Trip computer decided to retire early and no longer works
-Revs hunt a bit on cold start until choke comes off
-Headliner stained from when heater matrix went and needs a clean
-I have not touched the sunroof since she got back on the road, just in case the seals are perished. It is currently weatherproof and watertight so I am erring on the side of caution and leaving it alone.

-Koni coilover suspension and...
-Green air filter
-Original speedlines
-Original first aid kit present (and still has the wrapper on!)
-Recent MOT and service
-Brand new MAF fitted Dec '21
-Re-conditioned ISV fitted Oct '21
-£2, 000 of work done Aug '20 to Feb '21
-Spoiler works and comes up at 57mph
-2 set of keys
-Lots of receipts and paperwork
-Fitted with a tracker
As I said, she's not "concourse", just a good, honest little VR6. With a bit more TLC she will make someone a stunning motor again. I'm just sorry it's not going to be me.
