Description
The car starts, runs and stops but would need checking before taking for a MOT (it does not currently have a MOT). The Seicento is over 20 years old so qualifies as a classic car for insurance purposes with my current insurance provider.
There is no sunroof, the windows wind up and it has the smaller 899cc engine - it took me a long time to find a car to this simpler specification that I particularly wanted, but I now have health problems and a lot of other projects to work on in limited time, hence the reason for this reluctant sale.
The bodywork and paintwork is good for a 23 year old car and there is no peeling lacquer (there is a scratch on the offside where someone ran a key down it, this has been polished and shows in some lights and not others). The car has a small dent on the nearside rear wheel arch and the wheel arches need welding (see photos).
The interior is generally very good with wear on the drivers seat the only defect (see photo).
The tyres all have legal treads - the front tyres are 155x65x13 and the rear tyres are 165x55x13. There is no spare wheel.
The car is currently on SORN, the registration document is in my name. Obviously it cannot be driven away - due to the lack of MOT - so the buyer will need to be equipped with a suitable trailer.
