For reluctant sale due to a change in circumstances, my 1982 Ford Cortina 2. 3 Ghia. Been converted to manual by a previous owner, still says auto on the log book.
Bought as a toy, with a view to improving as I went along, she's had lots of new bits in the last 500 miles, including oil, filters, plugs, leads, 2 x brake cylinders, front discs and pads, new rear springs... the list goes on. Goes well, shines up nicely.
MoT expired, will be exempt from 29/ 03/ 2022 and will be classed as historic for road tax then too.
All round in pretty good nick, not concourse, but had a lot of admiring looks at shows last year. Comes on the new wheels and tyres pictured (15"), along with the original Ford Ghia alloys, with good tyres, if required. Has a new retro-look bluetooth stereo fitted.
The exhaust has a blow in it, and the indicators only work when they feel like it. The rear view mirror has fallen off, and the clutch pedal squeaks. Gearbox / diff area has a slight weep. Can't think of much else!
Currently in storage in Grays, 10 minutes from M25 Junction 30/ 31 and Lakeside.
