Triumph LeMans T6
Triumph spitfire 1500 chassis with a GT6 body and a T6 leMans body kit.
2. 1L pinto engine – Built by ford specialist, Newman hender 484/ 275 ultimate torque cam, twin 40 Webbers, 205 Block. Gives great power, torque and reliability. No leaks. Now done 12, 000 miles. Approx 160-170BHP.
Exhaust – Full stainless exhaust. 4-1 stainless header, 2 ½” exhaust pipe to the Stainless triumph tune twin exhaust. Sounds great not too loud.
Ignition – Uses an accuspark hall-effect sensor with a CB performance Black box. It has fully adjustable timing map via laptop. I have the software or you can download it for free.
Gearbox – Ford 4 speed ‘rocket box’. Freshly rebuilt with new bearings and sychro’s at 6000 miles, no leaks and works as it should.
Chassis – triumph 1500 chassis and running gear with a freshly rebuilt differential with all new Timken bearings. Ring and pinion in excellent condition. Rebuilt at 8, 000 miles. New drive shafts, wheel bearings all round, front stub axels. The front brakes are upgraded drilled and grooved disks with Green stuff pads. It has custom adjustable top control arms for camber adjustment. This was required due to the car being lowered. Car handles amazing. Near perfect 50/ 50 weight distribution.
Rear tyres are 205/ 55/ 15 TOYO proxies and the fronts are 195/ 55/ 15 Falkens.
Body - is a Lemans T6 kit, it’s a rare kit and not many around. Gives it an aggressive stance with the rat look and wide arches.
It has a AEM X series wideband AFR meter for easy tuning.
The car is mechanically in great condition and nothing needs doing. Get in it and use it. The body work is what it is. It is covered in rusty paint. I use this car as a daily commuter and have done since putting on the road and through its first MOT. Car is garaged over-night and weekends.
